But we also think that this is a great story for kids in primary school and it is also good experience.

Red Hat-Feelings If we chop all 14 fig trees down we would be destroying the homes of so many animals and we would be destroying our nature. We would regret what we have done. The fig trees that have been around for longer than any of us. We feel annoyed that people are cutting down our environment and these fig trees have been around for centuries
Green hat-creativity We think that this point might be a way to fix the fig tree problem without cutting them down.
well we could put more cement on top of the foot path so the eldely do not fall over on the fig tree roots.
Blue hat the big Picture The Newcastle City Council have to vote either if they want to cut them down or not. They also have to see if more people want to cut the fig trees down or if more people want to leave them there and find a way around cutting the fig trees down!
